Our Director – Miss Xoliswa Jwili
Miss Xoliswa Jwili is the founder and director of Moyana Jwili Attorneys. She built this firm on a simple conviction: the law must work for everyone.
Xoliswa is a labour law specialist, an alternative dispute resolution practitioner, and a social justice attorney She personally chairs disciplinary hearings, conducts workplace investigations, trains HR teams, and advises on dismissals and compliance. She also mediates disputes, facilitates difficult conversations, and serves as an arbitrator.
Her work extends beyond the workplace. Xoliswa provides legal support to traditional leaders and traditional authorities, helping them navigate the intersection of customary law and the South African constitution.
She leads the firm’s access to justice work, including pro bono advice, civic education, and training on sexual corruption.
Xoliswa holds an LLB from the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN) , a Project Management Certificate from the University of Pretoria (UP) , and a Postgraduate Diploma in Labour Law from the University of Johannesburg (UJ) . She is currently an LLM candidate at the University of South Africa (Unisa) .
